How to Apply Your TDEE Result

To maintain weight, eat near your calculated TDEE and monitor average body weight over several weeks. To lose fat, reduce intake by a manageable amount, often around 500 calories per day. To gain muscle, increase intake with a controlled surplus, commonly 200 to 500 calories per day, while following progressive strength training.
